IFL's founder and director Kelly O'Connor will be speaking to Film MA students at the London Film School this autumn.
She will discuss the workings of a contemporary film festival, from everyday coordination to strategic planning. This talk will give students an insight as to the context in which their film submissions are received.
Discussions will cover structure, politics, scheduling and marketing and will be full of tips and advice. We hope to guide students in thinking backwards from festivals/exhibition to their content in a way that will help them to best prepare before submitting.
This event is open to the public, and free to attend, however must be booked in advance. To enquire, please contact the London Film School at firstname.lastname@example.org
